From M2 to M4 iPad Pro: Was It Worth the Upgrade?

Some thoughts and experiences after over two weeks of using the M4 iPad Pro.

The iPad Pro is my primary working device. That’s why I’ve been keeping a very close eye on the new M4 iPad Pro models. And yes, I upgraded from the M2 iPad Pro to the M4 iPad Pro. Was this a reasonable decision? And what actually improved in my daily iPad experience? Or, actually, did anything improve at all?

In this article, I will answer these questions from the perspective of a guy working from and with the iPad for several hours a day.

If you are a regular reader of my stories, it’s no secret that I’m an iPad enthusiast. I love the iPad and sincerely enjoy working with and on iPads. So, I turned the M4 iPad Pro into my daily workhorse and used it as my primary device for the last two weeks.

I’ve upgraded from a 12.9-inch M2 iPad Pro with 1 TB of storage and Cellular connectivity. I’ve used this iPad for almost everything…
