It’s that time of the year again!

The time when you make some New Year’s resolutions to follow for the rest of the year.I made mine too — to get into a fitness routine and read more books.

Around New Year’s Eve, Apple dropped a short 38-second video on their YouTube channel titled ‘Quit Quitting’, prompting everyone to search up Quitter’s Day and how the Apple Watch could save you from quitting on your fitness goal. This video became my incentive to google Quitter’s Day and know more about it. Turns out, it’s real and quite scary for any New Year’s Resolution-makers:

Quitter’s Day is held on the second Friday in January. This year, it falls on January 10, 2025.

Quitter’s Day is set aside to recognize those who set New Year’s goals and fail to achieve them and to encourage and equip them to try again and ultimately succeed. Research has shown that people quit their resolutions for the year by the second Friday of January.
