Huge Slate of Kids Programming Announced For Apple TV+

Apple TV+ have recently announced, as they push for greater kids programming, that they are releasing a huge lineup of Original series, shorts, films and specials for kids this summer. This all kicks off from late June where more and more programming will be added each month for kids to stream.

Whats coming:

  1. All new special and shorts of “Hello Jack The Kindness Show”.

“Jack and his friends set out to solve a kindness mystery: Who’s behind the random acts of kindness popping up all over town? Plus four shorts where Jack interviews real kids about their acts of kindness in their hometowns, and gives them a DIY bird feeder kit they can hang up as a symbol of being a Kindness Ambassador,” says Apple in a press release. Available to stream June 24.

2. Duck & Goose — Season 1

Season one of a show inspired by New York Times Bestseller of the same name. The show, which is aimed at preschoolers tells the story of a duck and goose who form an unlikely friendship. Available to stream July 8.

3. Best Foot Forward — Season 1

This new series, based on the book Just Don’t Fall, “follows 12-year-old Josh Dubin as he goes from homeschool to public school, eager to experience everything middle school has to offer!” The series, which is written by a Paralympic athlete focusses on the struggles that Josh faces with a prosthetic leg. Available to stream July 22.

4. Amber Brown — Season 1

“Based on the bestselling book series by Paula Danziger, with over 10 million copies in print, “Amber Brown” is an unfiltered look at a girl finding her voice through art and music in the wake of her parents’ divorce,” Available to stream July 29.

5. New Episodes of “The Snoopy Show”

The final instalment of episodes of the second season of the The Snoppy Show. All new episodes available to stream August 5.

6. Classic Peanuts Specials

“A Charlie Brown Celebration,” “He’s A Bully, Charlie Brown,” “He’s Your Dog, Charlie Brown,” “It Was A Short Summer, Charlie Brown,” “It’s Your First Kiss, Charlie Brown,” “There’s No Time For Love, Charlie Brown,” “Why, Charlie Brown, Why?,” “You’re In Love, Charlie Brown” and “You’re The Greatest, Charlie Brown.” All these specials are coming to Apple TV+ and will be able to stream August 5, the same day as the new episodes of The Snoopy Show comes out.

7. Lucy’s School — More Peanuts

“The Peanuts gang are anxious about starting at a new school in the Fall, inspiring Lucy to start her own school instead — but teaching isn’t as easy as it sounds,” says Apple. The series aims to teach the importance and fulfilling nature of the work that teachers all around the world do. Available to stream August 12.

8. Surfside Girls — Season 1

A new live action series about two best friends Sam and Jade who solve supernatural mysteries. Available to stream August 19.

9. Life By Ella — Season 1

“Ella returns to school with a brand new perspective, excitement for what the future holds, and a major seize-the-day mentality. With her best friend by her side, she is ready to tackle everything she was too afraid of before and determined not to let the minutia of fake friends and social media status distract her”. Created from the team that bought you “Bunk’d”, and available to stream September 2.
