With the Apple Vision Pro completing a whole year since its official public launch last year, the new Spatial Computing platform called visionOS still counts as a novice experience for many indie and enterprise developers. The reasons for this could be numerous — from the hardware’s hefty price to the software’s overwhelming frameworks.

However, yesterday my perception of this new spatial computing platform changed for good. I attended a visionOS Meetup called Spatially Xtended (hosted by Swift Mumbai in Collaboration with XDG मुंBAI powered by Parallax Labs in association with KJ Somaiya College of Engineering). The 3-hour meetup had four keynote speakers who were indie as well as enterprise developers, and the experiences they shared with the audience were super-inspiring. This was followed by a panel discussion and a surprise element X, which was a true eye-opener for many in the audience — developers or otherwise.
