I’m Replacing My M2 iPad Pro With The M3 iPad Air
It’s not always a necessity to go with Apple’s Pro models
Back in July 2021, I bought myself the 4th generation iPad Air which was powered by the A14 chip. It was my first time buying a full-sized iPad as previously, I had always owned the iPad mini.
Fully enjoying the experience, I then upgraded to the 4th generation 11-inch iPad Pro in July 2023, which has the M2 chip.
That was a huge upgrade from the iPad Air, and my new iPad Pro was even more powerful than my 2020 M1 MacBook Air — which I’m still using to this day (even typing out this article on it).
However, over the last couple of years, I realised that I actually had no need for the iPad Pro.
I didn’t need to upgrade from the iPad Air as I never fully utilised the power of the M2 chip in the iPad Pro.
I remember talking to a friend a while back and he asked me if I was planning to get the M4 iPad Pro as an upgrade from my M2 iPad Pro.
Instead, I’ve just listed it on a local selling platform and will be getting myself the new M3 iPad Air.
Let me share with you my reasons.
