One of the most appealing things about the iPhone SE is the smaller screen size. Every year, it seems like iPhone’s are getting bigger and bigger, but the thing that stood out about the iPhone SE was the smaller form factor and screen size that was easy to hold and use in one hand. However, that was short-lived. The iPhone SE (2nd generation) came out back in April and then a few months later, in September, Apple surprised us all with the new iPhone 12 Mini. A much smaller device, that still holds all the power of the latest generation iPhone. So, Apple now has two devices that are both easy to use with one hand. But, which one is the best one?

First, let’s compare for some technical specifications. On paper, the iPhone 12 Mini is better in every way. You’ve got a bigger screen (coming in at 5.4 inches compared to the 4.7 inches found on the iPhone SE), but in a smaller device as it is an all-screen design with no large chin and bezel. The display itself is the Super Retina XDR Display, which is an OLED panel, providing better colour and contrast compared to the LCD display on the SE. Even though 5G is not all that popular yet, you do have the option of 5G on the iPhone 12 Mini compared to 4G on the iPhone SE. A dual-camera system on the Mini, one wide and one ultra-wide lens compared to the single-wide lens…
