Today, Apple held their first event of the season where they announced quite a few products. This includes 3 new Apple Watches, the long-awaited 2nd generation AirPods, and the product that everyone loves and cares about the most, the new iPhones.

In recent years, Apple has followed the pattern of releasing two different versions of iPhone: the Regular version, and the Pro version.

When Apple spoke about the iPhone 14 Pro models, I loved them. The new display and hole-punch camera, where the software takes over the new design, as well as the power of the A16, the new Purple colour as well as the camera technology, I think that it is another iPhone that is worthy of the Pro name.

However, I can’t say the same for the iPhone 14 model. I was throughly underwhelmed with the changes that was made and I don’t consider it much of an upgrade. Realistically, I think that it should be called iPhone 13.2 as that is more of an accurate description of the “upgrade”.

So, let’s talk about what is new with this iPhone.

The New Plus Model

Going back to the iPhone 6 series, the “Plus” name returns and replaces the “Mini”. Seems like the sale of the iPhone Mini’s were not doing so…
