iPhone SE 2020

The all-new iPhone on the stable has been the iPhone SE-2 or say 2020

It has been a radical move from Apple to launch an all-new iPhone powered by its latest smartphone processor at $399.

But is it still worth it buying a product looking soo 2017ishh in 2020?

Seriously Apple!! A company that has some really amazing designers at its design studios some really enticing products in the line-up is still launching a new smartphone with a flagship processor in 2020 with so thick bezels.

The Bezels have been long gone even on the smartphones starting at $150 they have already moved on and taken over to the bezel-less design displays which even Apple has adapted since 2018, obviously except the SE.

Earlier when the first SE was launched it was named as the Special Edition iPhone and it served its purpose of giving a small-sized phone with no compromise on the performance end. This time around it’s not all the same.

Apple has put the latest and fastest mobile processor out there but the battery on this iPhone still sucks. According to some reports, the SE is having the same internals as the iPhone 8 and even the Battery is the same. The charger that comes in-box is not even a fast charger it’s the normal 5W charger that used to ship way back in older times when fast-charging wasn’t a thing.

The Rear camera is good to go with but who doesn’t like multiple cameras on a phone in 2020.

If I am buying a new phone in 2020 and hopefully going to use it for other 2–3 years(most of SE buyers) you don’t give me fast-charging, no multiple camera setup(reserved for premium offerings), front with huge bezels and what not…

In my opinion, Apple would have moved the Fingerprint senor to the Right side underneath the power button or to the back under the Apple Logo and made the SE look like something better.

I tried my hand at designing what would have been ideal for Apple and I think it is pretty much more acceptable than the current version.

A Subtle design change and yet a better-looking iPhone which would really have made its way into the millennials pockets even if they had to go beyond their budget, but just once for a $399 iPhone would have been worth it.
