Is The 3rd Generation iPhone SE Really Worth Getting In 2023?
It all boils down to what you really want and need your phone for
I’ve been using my 3rd generation iPhone SE for almost a year now and while it has been really good to me, I have found myself asking the question, is it really still worth getting it over the other iPhones that are available?
We’re coming into September soon which means in just a few weeks time, Apple will be announcing the latest iPhone lineup which we expect to be the iPhone 15 series.
As what Apple have been practicing, they will likely start selling those alongside some older generations.
Currently, Apple sells the iPhone 14 series alongside the iPhone 13 (and iPhone 13 mini), iPhone 12, and the iPhone SE, with some slight price reduction (slight, just slight).
Once the iPhone 15 series launches, expect Apple to then get rid of the iPhone 12 and potentially the iPhone 13 mini as well, keeping just the regular iPhone 13, iPhone 14 (and 14 Plus) and iPhone SE alongisde the iPhone 15.
Rumours have it that Apple doesn’t plan to announce an update to the SE, meaning that the 3rd generation will be around for at least a while longer.
