Is there “Something more” to the all new iPad Pro?

As the WWDC is approaching, and the iPad Pro 2021s out on shelves, I infer the best is yet to come.

Apple is one of those companies that do not go hay-wire and make products just to get the bragging rights.
Even in the past, when all the competitors have tried to cut past Apple on the specs game, they have never responded to their clutter.

Today most of the Apple competitors have moved onto smartphone cameras with more than 100x zoom, 108 MP cameras, and what not. But Apple being Apple has never cared more than enough with regards to these numbers and shown the world that numbers do not matter.

Even when the competitors decided to flood their phones with 16 gigs of RAM, Apple didn’t even care to mention the amount of RAM they are using and still crushed all the competition in the performance ratings.
But unlike every other past launch, this time around Apple did not only put a desktop quality chipset into the ever so powerful iPad, but they have also gone a bit further.

With the new Apple M1 in the iPad, it would have been already the most powerful tablet PC out there, beating the competition by a long mile. On the other hand, Apple has provided us with a cherry on the icing providing the iPad with 16 gigs of RAM.

iPad Specification sheet (apple.com)

Even if we believe the rumors from the past, Apple has never gone past 8GB RAM for the fastest iPad ever. But this time Apple has gone above and beyond to bring 16 GBs of RAM to the disposal of the user.

This move just suggests a major overhaul coming to the iPadOS, where everything will be ever so slightly better than before, and as far as I can think of they would be bringing something more to the table with some real Pro app support to iPad OS that will use up the RAM better than keeping it unused for most of the life-cycle of the product.

I think this new iPad OS update would bring the moment that Apple has been trying to communicate to the World since the launch of the first iPad Pro, and truly resulting in a situation where you no longer need a laptop for day to day tasks.
