Last week, I published a review on my YouTube channel, and easily the most recurring question was this — “If I do want to upgrade but I have to choose only one, do I upgrade to 16GB of RAM or 512GB of storage”? Well, let’s explore.
A few days ago I wrote an article, where I made a case about about why I believe the base model M2 Macbook Air will be enough for most casual users. That computer, the base model in particular, had gotten so much hate on YouTube and other platforms, so many reviewers were throwing completely unrealistic benchmarks at this machine, and crying outrage when it didn’t perform the same as a top end MacBook pro. The M2 Macbook air is NOT a pro device, plain and simple. It’s an everyday Mac for everyday users, and as such, it is a fantastic little machine that feels amazing to work on and definitely looks the part.
