Mac Experience on Cloud (2021)

A simple tutorial of enabling and connecting Mac instance on AWS EC2.

Recently, AWS released the new EC2 instance with macOS 11.2.1 Big Sur. Thankfully I have a chance to test this mac machine on the cloud. Cool! Let’s take a look at how it works.

Setup

01. Visit EC2 console (https://console.aws.amazon.com/console/home?nc2=h_ct&src=header-signin&region=us-east-1)

• Limited region available: US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon), EU (Ireland), and Asia-Pacific (Singapore)

02. Choose AMI (macOS Big Sur 11.2.1)

03. Choose “mac1”
