MacBook Air: M2 vs M1: Worth the upgrade?
Which is the right MacBook Air for you?
WWDC is probably one of the most exciting events of the year for Apple nerds such as myself. A lot of information is dropped and typically, information about Apple software are the only things that are revealed. However, in a surprising turn of events, Apple announced some new hardware, and with that, a new laptop.
Since the release of the M1 and people absolutely loving the amount of power the M1 is capable of delivering, the long battery life, and smaller features such as Instant-On. Needless to say, people were very curious what M2 was going to deliver.
So, during this WWDC event, Apple revealed that the first laptop to carry the M2 chip is going to be its best-selling laptop, the MacBook Air. However, as awesome and amazing as the new MacBook Air seems to be, they are still selling the M1 MacBook Air.
This begs the question: Is the M2 MacBook Air really worth the extra cash? Or are you better off saving your money and getting the M1 MacBook Air?
