After months of testing, a bunch of public betas, the latest macOS 12 Monterey is finally released in the stable channel. Everyone who has a supported Mac can download the latest version update. Apple announced the macOS 12 back in June during its WWDC event. Now they made Monterey official that it will release on October 25 during their “Unleashed” Mac event which saw huge announcements like M1 Pro, M1 Max, and an all-new MacBook Pro.

Monterey is a muted update in many ways compared to the last year’s OS 11 Big Sur update, which bought huge design overhauls and ending OS X’s run. Monterey also has some interesting new features that are worth checking out. Here are few things you need to know about the latest and greatest macOS 12 Monterey update.
