As iOS Developer, sometimes we need to have a demo to present our milestones and work done so far.

So we need to mirror our iPhone to a bigger screen which is connected to a projector so everyone in the meeting will be able to see it.

It’s very simple.

Every MacBook comes with “Quicktime Player”, an application to record videos, record your own screen or mirror an iPhone.

all you need is to have USB cable connected to your macbook and open that program “Quicktime Player”.

Steps

1- Connect iPhone to MacBook using USB Cable.

2- Open QuickTime player.

3- From the top menu, choose File -> New Movie Recording.

4- Front camera will open, press the arrow beside the red record button.

Choose your iPhone (if it didn’t appear, unplug your iPhone then plug it again)

5- It works 🎉 , now your iPhone is mirrored to your MacBook and you can even record it as a video.

Have a successful demo! 🤩🎉
