For the longest time (four years), the only non-Apple device in my ecosystem had been my Sony WH-1000XM3 Headphones. And I was happy with them. They worked great — good Active Noise Cancelling, awesome battery life, light on the head. I couldn’t find a reason to complain. Until two months back, when I got the AirPods Max.
With the arrival of these new headphones, I made an instant switch. Wherever I went, I wore them and I could notice a difference. Was the difference positive or negative, you ask? Well, to answer that question honestly, I had to do a lot of deep thinking myself. If I had to call a difference positive for the AirPods Max, I would have to weigh in the reason too which often stood in the negative for this headphone (and consequently a positive for the Sony ones). Thus, began my love-and-hate relationship with the AirPods Max.
