Ted Lasso — Apple TV+

First discovered by 9to5 Mac, fans of Apple TV+’s hit comedy series starring Jason Sudeikes, “Ted Lasso” will not have to wait that much longer to get their hands on merchandise for the show.

Bill Lawrence, the showrunner for “Ted Lasso” confirmed on the podcast called “Fake Doctors, Real Friends,” that there will be merchandise available before the premiere of the second season.

The initial set of items which could be in the form of mugs, bottles, pens, badges and stickers are expected around the end of June when Apple releases the trailer. There will then be official jerseys expected by September during the season two run.

What exactly the merch will be is still unconfirmed so at this point it is down to speculation as to what they might be selling. It is also unclear where you would buy the merch. I very much doubt they will be available in physical Apple Stores and the Apple website. Although, there may be a special merch website set up. There is also a possibility that it could be exclusive to the Apple Store App.

What about other shows and movies? Apple’s first piece of merch was for Billie Eilish: The Worlds A Little Blurry which was just a giftcard with Billie Eilish branding. The Long Way franchise, Beastie Boys and Bruce Springsteen also have merch available but it is all sold on their own personal websites. Mythic Quest merch is also available on the Ubisoft store. The problem here is that different merch is available on different websites making the buying process more complicated. It would be good if they could establish one website where all merch can be bought from.
