Say Goodbye To The iPhone Mini
The iPhone mini lived a short but much-loved life
Even before the dust has settled on Apple’s Spring event which happened just over a week ago, the rumour mills have already started turning on what else Apple will be announcing for the remainder of 2021.
One of the most talked-about releases is this year’s iPhone line-up which for the moment, is rumoured to be called the iPhone 13.
And it isn’t such good news for one particular model in the line-up — the 5.4-inch iPhone Mini.
Released just less than a year ago when it debuted as the iPhone 12 Mini, it looks like its lifespan will not be as long as Apple (or some fans) would have hoped it to be.
This coming from well-known Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo who says that the 5.4-inch iPhone Mini will not see the light of day after this year. Meaning, the iPhone 13 lineup may well be the last iPhone lineup to feature the Mini model with Apple scrapping it completely for their 2022 iPhone releases, focusing on the 6.1-inch sizes instead.
The current (as well as expected 2021) iPhone lineup consists of the iPhone 12 and 12 Mini which carries 6.1-inch and 5.4-inch screen sizes respectively. Then you have the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max which have…
