The pressure is real: publish more, post more, hustle harder. Solopreneurs often wear exhaustion like a badge of honour — until our bodies have other ideas.

In 2023, mine did. I had a stroke. Seven months in hospital. Recovery wasn’t optional — it was survival. And when I came home, I had a decision to make: either rebuild the business to support my health, or burn out trying to prove something to nobody.

I chose rest. Intentional, daily, guilt-free rest.

But here’s the thing: rest doesn’t mean my business stops. It runs quietly in the background, thanks to a few carefully chosen Apple apps and automations that do the heavy lifting while I’m napping, walking, or off the clock.
