The iOS 16.1 Update Is Much Bigger Than We’ve Expected — 7 Amazing Features!
The first beta proves it
No sooner than iOS 16 was out to the public than we, the paying developers, got the iOS 16.1 Beta.
It’s a fairly large update (4 point something GB) on my iPhone XR, as updating from public version to beta (or vice-versa) needs the complete OS to be installed. Yeah.
It seems like Apple released this update to fill the voids of iOS 16 disappointments. And the new features… God! I didn’t know I actually needed them.
Here’s a list of 7 of iOS 16.1’s features you’ll want to try.
#1. Great News for users of older iPhones
If you own an iPhone XR, 11, or any mini (like me), you might’ve felt bad for not getting the Battery Percentage feature. I don’t think there’s a valid reason for Apple not giving it to us.
But, get ready. With iOS 16.1, you’re gonna get it.
To use it, go to Settings ⚙️ < Battery 🔋
, and toggle on Battery Percentage
