Why Would Apple Think This is Okay?
Introduction
Recently, Apple announced two new iPads with the basic iPad finally getting a big upgrade with many new changes. However, the new iPad also has some very obvious defects which you would never expect from any device released by Apple, let alone the precious iPad, and this makes it very hard for me to recommend this new iPad to anyone.
The Positives
Design
The iPad finally got itself a long-awaited redesign, and it is a big change for sure. Finally, after a decade, Apple decided that it was time for the cheapest iPad to lose the home button and join its bigger brothers.
The new design is similar to that of the iPad Air but with thicker bezels. With the new all-screen design, the screen made a jump from 10.2 inches to 10.9 inches.
The new iPad now comes in 4 colors: silver, blue, pink, and yellow. With the removal of the home button, Touch ID got moved to the power button.
