Introduction

So, Apple’s iPhone 13 was announced a while ago, and it was not that big of an upgrade but that was to be expected, but now that we are in September, we are looking forward to the iPhone 14 announcement going to take place on September 7, and this one should be a much bigger upgrade with changes to the camera, the design, removal of the notch, and as always, an improvement to the performance through the addition of a new chip.

However, this year, Apple seems to have a different plan in mind, and it seems likely that the upcoming generation of iPhones will have different chips, but no one knows how Apple plans to pull this off since if they do that, they are going to face many problems.

The new Chip

This year, we are going to get Apple’s A16 chip, and this one is actually a big upgrade since this is the year in which Apple moves to new technology and starts using 3 nm technology in its chips instead of the 5 nm technology that has been used by Apple in its chips for a while now.
