Should you upgrade to the latest iPhone Pro model if you already have the previous one?
Apple finally announced the iPhone 14 lineup during their latest event last month (alongside the new Apple Watch(es) and 2nd generation AirPods Pro) which consists of 4 new models.
These new models are the:
- iPhone 14
- iPhone 14 Plus
- iPhone 14 Pro
- iPhone 14 Pro Max
The non-plus/max models sport a 6.1-inch screen while the plus and max models come with a larger 6.7-inch screen.
Yes, as anticipated, Apple has dropped the very short-lived 5.4-inch iPhone mini model (glad to have had it for at least 2 generations of the 12 mini and 13 mini) as sales figures just didn’t justify having it for another year.
However, you can still buy one as Apple is still selling the iPhone 13 mini, although they’ve dropped the 12 mini from their official iPhone lineup.
I have a feeling that when we get the launch of next year’s iPhone 15, we won’t have the option for a mini anymore.
