The iPhone is undoubtedly Apple’s most successful and sold product. We are going to tell you what makes the iPhone so attractive and why you should consider an iPhone as your next phone.

The COOL Kid

Whether you want to admit it or not, Apple is the cool kid of the smartphone world. Many smartphone companies want to be like Apple, so the way they achieve this is by copying stuff that Apple is making to its products. Apple removes the headphone jack from their iPhones and the other companies go and do the same to their line of smartphones. Apple launches a phone that costs A thousand dollars, and then three years later most other smartphone companies have their thousand-dollar phone (yes, even Motorola has one). Apple puts a notch on their iPhone and the next year who knows how many phones copied this terrible design. Apple has built a reputation where it sets the tone for other companies and whether you like it or not, other companies follow suit, so as a customer it’s more appealing to buy a smartphone from a company like Apple.

It is not quantity is quality

The iPhone is minimalist which costumers appreciate. While other companies seek to “innovate” by putting five different cameras on their phones, with up to 108 megapixels, or even 4K screens. The iPhone delivers a simple but outstanding experience. It doesn’t matter if the iPhone only has 3 RAM and a single 12-megapixel camera such as the new iPhone SE, Apple will deliver a premium product that the costumers will enjoy.

Design and Hardware

Some people love the design of the iPhone, some people think that it is no longer modern or in other cases, people just find the design of the iPhone non-attractive. But if we all can agree on something is that the quality of the iPhone is superior to any other smartphone on the market, it doesn’t matter if it’s the $ 399 iPhone SE, the $ 700 iPhone 11, or the $ 1099 iPhone 11ProMax. Apple truly offers flawless quality hardware for its products.

Software = IOS = Simplicity

IOS or Android, depending on your preferences as a user, you may prefer one more than the other however, I will make some arguments on why you should choose IOS over Android. I have personally, used both operating systems, and I prefer to use Android since this opens the doors to thousands of possibilities and tricks where you can design and configure your phone to your liking, but this is something that thousands of users do not want to do, and I must admit that Android does take some learning curve because there are thousands of things you can do with your phone, however, IOS is simple, the opportunity this gives you to configure your phone to your liking is minimal, but in return, you receive this: an easy-to-use phone, where you don’t have to worry about a thing.

Updates

Imagine that you just spent hundreds of dollars on a new smartphone, but that after two years of use you no longer have the possibility to update your phone to the latest version with all the new specifications and tricks, let me tell you that this is something that does not happen with the iPhone, and possibly this is one of its points that makes the iPhone so successful. Many of us keep our smartphones for more than three years. In many cases that the same phone is passed to a friend or family member. The option to buy a phone that is going to have minimum five years of future software updates against the maximum of three that Android offers is something nice to have, and even more when you have the option of buying a phone like the iPhone SE that costs 399 dollars which will receive 5 years of software updates. This is something that there is no other phone on the market offers.

The Apple Ecosystem

One of the reasons why the iPhone is so successful is because of the other products and services that Apple sells to you: the Apple Watch, the Airpods, a Mac computer, an iPad, AppleMusic, ICloud, are some of the products and services that Apple offers. Many of these could be used with an Android device, but the experience using an iPhone is going to be superior, so you have to think if you already have an Apple product or service before you buy your new smartphone.

Apple revolutionized the smartphone industry when Steve Jobs announced the first iPhone in 2007, thus creating the first smartphone as we know it today. Apple has been manufacturing and perfecting the iPhone for more than 13 years and although the competition is stronger than ever for the fruit company, there is not a single company that offers the user the same things that Apple has to offer with its iPhone.
