The TikTok Ban Has Claimed Its First Victim: Apple

There’s a new report from Canalys out that shows a sharp drop in iPhone sales in mainland China. According to Canalys Apple sold 13.3 million smartphones in Q1 2023 but only 10 million in Q1 2024. A decrease of almost 25%. And this has led to a huge shift in smartphone sales in China. In Q1 2023 Apple was number one. In Q1 2023 they are number 5.
