Why I’m Never Relapsing to Using iPhone With a Case and Screenguard
This is undoubtedly going to ruffle some feathers.
Negligence is not an excuse to treat something poorly, especially when it comes from your hard-earned money.
I bought my current iPhone 14 in Feb 2023, and the salesman at the Apple Store easily convinced me to buy a screen guard and a case.
After using them for almost 6 months, my phone dropped at an unfortunate angle, and it got a crack in the tempered glass. The case was also becoming yellow.
When there is a scratch on your tempered glass, it slowly spreads to the screen over time, so the wise option is to replace the glass immediately.
I went a little extreme. I removed the glass altogether, and I have enjoyed the naked iPhone ever since. Yellowing of the case was another reason to remove the protection.
