You should Turn off these iOS 14 Settings
When you update your iPhone to new software, so many features turn on automatically by Apple. Many of them you don’t even know to exist and most of them you don’t use. So it is better to turn them off. Because these features run in the background of your iPhone and may affect your battery life.
If you have a two or three years old iPhone then you are fine but if you are using an older iPhone you should turn off these settings to improve the performance of your iPhone and also to improve Battery life.
1. Turn Off Preload Top Hit
Preload top hit is a new feature Apple introduced in iOS 14. It loads the data on the first page of a search. Basically it automatically loads the first website appeared on the search page. The disadvantage of this feature is it will drain battery life, will use some data and you might not end up open that website.
For turning off Preload Top Hit:
Go to Settings > Safari Settings > Turn off Preload Top Hit toggle.
