Another day, another celebrity talking about their sexuality in the most obnoxious and potentially damaging way possible, making it much worse for every average queer just to exist, and then going about their sheltered, privileged life like nothing happened, because to them, it didn’t. On Instagram Live with her new boyfriend Cody Simpson (who, according to the pop singer, is the last good cis man on earth), Miley Cyrus, who identifies as pansexual, offered queer girls everywhere some words of encouragement: “Don’t give up, you don’t have to be gay, there are good dicks out there, you just have to find them. I always thought I had to be gay because all guys are evil but that’s not true.”

And just like that, one of the few highly visible LGBTQ “activists” affirmed just about every backwards belief held about queer women: they just haven’t met the right guy yet, they’re man haters who think all men are evil, they’re just waiting for the day when a “good dick” will sweep them off their feet.
