After going quiet on YouTube for a few years, former LGBTQ influencer Anthony Quintal, aka Lohanthony, has finally returned. Only, instead of a flamboyantly gay teen with metallic painted nails chugging an energy drink and giving hot takes on pop culture, his followers were greeted by a long-haired, white tee-wearing, newly celibate Anthony, who has apparently turned his life over to the great zaddy in the sky, Jesus Christ.

In the 41-minute-long (heartbreaking) video, Quintal essentially blames his sexuality on the fact that he was molested as a child. This lead him to “sin against other people” by having same-sex relationships, he explains. (Which, as we know, isn’t a thing, but it’s a principle taught in conversion therapy, which some people suspect Quintal underwent.) He also conflates addiction and sexuality, saying his pursuit of drugs and men were connected, and all part of a misguided pursuit for “God’s love.”
