January milestone achieved!

Since our selection for Alt.Ctrl.GDC 2020 we have been hard at work on improving our alternative controller. This led us to a new prototype for a major milestone.

The team hard at work, trying for the first time this new iteration of the prototype

New prototype for our controllers

Based on first observations on our initial prototype, we built a follow-up version based on user feedback and new technical constraints.

This milestone is a major one, validating multiple aspects of our game: it allowed us to create a stable build for easier playtests and will now allow us to iterate on ergonomics and aesthetics.

Concerning the actual crafting of our terminals, we tested a new production pipeline using laser cutting with cardboard for quick and fast iterations of further improvements. This was alsoa first step towards our more advanced versions we are planning to cut out of wood.

Intense sessions of playtests will follow this first milestone

New gameplay footage!

A demonstration is sometimes better than words … so we published this new Gameplay footage from our milestone.

What’s next?

First of all we can’t wait to show you more! More prototypes, milestones, playtests will follow and we will share with you our progress.

We will improve our technique with the laser cutting and get closer to controllers with a cold war look. In parallel we will continue to balance the game.

We are planning an intense 5 minutes long game experience for you to play at GDC in March and we are concentrating all our efforts in it.

Follow us!

We are present on multiple social platforms where we sill share our progress over the course of the next weeks.
