Madaleno-Jenkins Ticket Announces Over a Million Attempts

KENSINGTON, Md –Today the campaign of State Senator and gubernatorial candidate Rich Madaleno and Lieutenant-Governor candidate Luwanda Jenkins is proud to announce they have reached over one million attempts on the doors and phones.

Campaign manager Keith Presley said “We have been the most organized campaign since Day One. From September until now, we have had the organization to build the necessary support of grassroots passionate volunteers to make more than one million attempts throughout all 24 jurisdictions — which is something no other gubernatorial campaign in this race can reasonably claim, because no other campaign has been on the ground as early and as dedicated as we were.”

As commentators have tried to push the narrative that Rushern Baker and Ben Jealous are the “two front-runners,” it is to be reminded that the front-runners have spent millions and yet, the largest portion of the electorate remains undecided voters.

“This weird dynamic in this particular race leaves room for Rich coming up the middle,” added Keith Presley. “We knew this was going to be a crowded race with a lot of undecideds, and that’s why we invested in our field operation –because you win these votes over with the best ground game, with volunteers talking to voters directly.”
