Good news. Made By Munsters will be teaching at Squares Conference this year. The three-day conference, held in Grapevine, TX and hosted by the good people who created Circles Conference, has asked us to teach a one-day workshop on crafting your own CSS framework.

In this session, I will be presenting on how easy it is to avoid importing frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation. While, these are all great resources, most of the time we as developers and designers spend more time fighting the frameworks then using what they give us.

We will be working with Sass as our primary style language, Gulp as our preprocesser and HTML to construct our components. Additionally, I will be walking you through how I setup my folder structure and how easy it can be to create flexible Sass components once you complete the initial heavy lifting.

This workshop will be held on Wednesday, April 27 at 10:30 a.m. and will last about an hour and half.

If you are interested in learning more about my talk or the conference, you can get all the details on Squares’ website.

We hope to see you all there. If you have any questions, please reach out.
