We’re Presenting at Tulsa TechFest

Made By Munsters will be presenting at Tulsa TechFest this year. The one-day conference, held in Tulsa, OK is a free charitable, non-profit event organized by Tulsa area volunteers. We will be giving a talk on getting started using the Phoenix framework for the Elixir programming language.

In this session, I will be presenting on how to get up and running with the Elixir language by using the Phoenix framework. There are many languages and frameworks to choose from and I believe Elixir / Phoenix brings the syntax we love from Ruby into a more performant and fault tollerent environment. I will be demonstrating this by showing off the steps to create a simple chat application using Phoenix Channels.

This workshop will be held on Friday, August 5th at 8:45 a.m. and will last about an hour.

If you are interested in learning more about my talk or the conference, you can get all the details on Tulsa TechFest’s website.

We hope to see you all there. If you have any questions, please reach out.
