We’re over the moon to have won the #MCRCultureAward for Promotion of Culture and Education this year! What a wonderful event, thrown in the grand and glitzy Vermillion. We were fed a menu of delicious south east Asian cuisine and 100s of the city’s arts culture and education workforce came together to celebrate the work that happens day in day out, every year across Manchester.

As a cultural education partnership it is solely through working and in tandem with so many of the city’s institutions, practitioners and venues that the vision for youth-led creative education can continue. There’s been so much perseverance and passion from all involved, Liz O’Neill (Z-arts CEO & Co-chair of MADE said:

“ How great it is to have all the hard work and passion, from so many teachers and cultural educators, recognised, especially after two such tough years. It really is an award for the dedication from the dozens if not hundreds of people who have made it happen”,

Now to keep up the work and relationships built so far, work in new places and with new people who can contribute to the vision for reaching every young person in Manchester through arts and education!
