floating coins

floating coins fly from my hands.

they go to material things- to clothes and

coffee, and gifts for family.

the floating coins go into a black hole,

the hole is filled with “things,” a

ploy, designed to toy with our beliefs.

a belief I don’t have anymore.

instead of God, or Allah, or any other

entity, I worship the tangible.

if by miracle, I should float to join the

floating coins when I pass, I am

afraid I will not float with the

coins, as I am weighed

down by the

heavy floating

coins
