Madrasters had picked up an interesting topic for the 11th Meetup “Designer’s Entrepreneurship”. The participants were pumped up and curious about what they were gonna learn. It was kind of interesting to see young people gathering on a Saturday Morning around 10am.

Starting off with an Ice-breaking activity of “Build a Home” which pulled up energetic participants to design modern homes. The activity paved a way on interior designing ideas and planning layouts was something that people were really excited to learn about. The details that the people focused on was amazing and the designs came out pretty well. Affshana, an Interior designer, was on the premises during the activity and gave insights on how better they can do the designs and summarized on how interior designing works!

Powerful session by Santhosh Palavesh of UMM Digital, enlightening people on how and why Design is money. He focused on the elements of design that works on the internet. The case studies of how companies like Bumble are leveraging and implementing design strategies into their products. The impact a design can create was explained while showcasing websites that convert because of the UX elements implemented. He also shared on how he scaled his agency in the last 10 years.

Pramila Jain of Candyfloss shared thoughts on her journey of how she made it from Freelancer to a Founder and why she never gave up! While her whole life was a roller coaster ride, she has still made it to who she is today. Her journey of how she managed obstacles and the ways in which she planned and focused on building her marketing agency was pretty interesting to listen to.

The Limelight rising stars Ananthakumar Kuppusamy and Chenthuran Ilango presented their works and thoughts to the audience. Ananth showcased some of his works he’s done as a UX Designer, and the layouts were something that would work pretty well. Chenthuran shared his works and his journey so far in the field of design. It was such a delight to see young minds glowing and their aspirations were set apart.
