Great Minds discuss Ideas… Average mind discuss events…Young Minds discuss People and that’s the art of being creative!

IMAGE SALEM — branch of IMAGE infotainment ltd, Salem invited Jack Anto, Design Chief at Report Bee & Founder of Madrasters and me an active contributor of Madrasters & Visual Designer at Zoho Corp, to witness the Session on Creativity on 22nd December 2017. Salem welcomed our most experienced journey towards creativity. Nandha who is the centre head of Image Salem gave us an affable note of invite earlier when we had met the students of Image Salem and spoke about the ‘Art of being positive’, well there is a lot of improvement!

Session on Creativity was a three day event and we were escorted like the ‘Leading light’ on the first day with all colourful banners and students around where I felt amazing at the moment, I saw a greater expectation level which was waving in their eyes and minds. I and Jack Anto had previously exchanged our ideas about what we are going to discuss and give them, and clinched to up skill ‘Creative Logo’ within 6 steps.

The inauguration started, Mr Hasif Khan, Jack and I were asked to light the lamp of creativity and we were surprised with the launch of a Magazine ‘Image Salem’ which was evocative of our works in their premises.

Image Salem had a separate room for photography, and a formal opening of the gallery was a ribbon cutting ceremony by Jack Anto

We interacted with the students and they lead us with their works which completely charged the studio, Astounding! Each and every student had impressive skills and they were matured enough to show their creativity to a striking level. Some of them with their photography prowess, was wondrous or no words to define their excellence, by seeing them I felt I should be more dexterous. How will I not forget to mention the talents of one student named Kabil, in one word I would say Prodigious! It is impossible to explain Creativity; it’s like asking a bird “How do you fly?” You just do. Another captivating character Vijay Kumar

who is mentally challenged, strives with incredible works. He has got a lot of creative stuff which he aims to show this world. “Creativity is not being afraid to fail. There are even few more students who come all the way from remote areas to develop their skill towards creativity.

The sessions were bifurcated as morning and afternoon, the day session was held by Mr.Hasif Khan

illustrator and cartoonist in Ananda Vikatan who spoke about ‘Live Digital Art’ in different version where I was ignorant on few perspectives, I was dumbfound with his phenomenal way of picturing Live Digital Art and the noon session was filled by us with the view on ‘Creative Logo’.

Our session started with a formal introduction about us and team Madrasters. I always have this avid feel when I see a cluster of creative heads; to proceed further we conducted with an activity. To describe about the activity we kept it simple to sketch their name in a creative logo and how it would resemble, I gave an exemplar with my name after which within a time gap of 3–4 minutes they came up with their own logo fervently, it boosted my confidence level. The next session by me was ‘Developing creative thoughts’, so I started with ‘Typo’ blending two languages into one, for instance Magizhchi & Happiness

together. I also dedicated Image and Salem blend typo to Mr.Nandha who stood as a backbone to all the students.

My experience at Image Salem on behalf of Madrasters was a wonderful journey, “If the art of teaching is clarity then the art of learning is to see and listen.” At last not to the least every student at Image Salem floats like a butterfly and they sting like a bee. When we departed I could see the eyes of every student what new would we bring next time to make them fly in colours.

Thanks to the almighty!
