MADworld Hosts Live Art Battle, Championship Beatbox Performance and Free Mystery Box NFTs in Partnership with FaZe Clan at NFT Now’s The Gateway

WHAT:

During NFT Now’s The Gateway in Miami coinciding with Art Basel 2022, innovative Web3 ecosystem MADworld is hosting a number of events and digital collectible drops for Gateway attendees. MADworld is hosting a LIMITS live digital art battle with Asia’s top artists KATHMI, JABA, Hirofumi Mochizuki and yuhkilily. The four artists will have 20 minutes each to create a digital masterpiece via livestream featuring a topic determined on-stage minutes before the competition begins.

Following the battle, there will be a live DJ performance headlined by Human Beatbox World Champion DJ SO-SO featuring hyped Japanese NFT projects (BŌSŌ TOKYO, Neo Tokyo Punks, Bucket Bear) slated to collaborate with MADworld in the coming year.

In addition to the live acts, MADworld offers attendees who visit the FaZE Clan Token booth a free mystery box NFT that will contain either a virtual astronaut suit or a MADworld X Moshpit Avatar. The airdrop will double as a teaser for the NFTs’ future utility and what may come next within the MADworld X Moshpit collaboration.

Live DJ Performance — DJ SO-SO

Beatboxer & Looper / Music Producer /DJ

SO-SO is a Japanese representative beatboxer/music producer. He creates all of his songs with beatboxing, known for his high-level performance of using loop station and vocal effector to overdub and construct music. At the world championship “Grand Beatbox Battle 2021” in Poland, he set the world record to join 4 of 5 departments.

He also won the world championship of “TAG LOOP department”, which was for the first time achieved by Japanese Beatboxers. His unique music style has been widely reported by the media in Japan.

BŌSŌ TOKYO

BŌSŌ TOKYO is a collection of unique pieces of generative art designed by Hidetaka Tenjin, a leading Japanese illustrator. Tenjin has created illustrations for STAR WARS mechas, Gundam and Macross. NFT holders will receive not only the artwork, but also 3D avatars that can be used in the metaverse, as well as access to exclusive communities and events. Afromance is the creative director, who also heads Afro&Co., a top creative company offering never-before experiences.

Neo Tokyo Punks

Neo Tokyo Punks is a generative project made up of 2,222 works launched by one creator. The design concept is “Anime x Street Fashion x Cyberpunk”. Seven core members share a common vision of “to be the №1 IP in the Web3 era”, who are managing this project together.

Bucket Bear

Bucket Bear is an NFT project the creative design of which is by artist Kohei Fukushima. Fukushima, whose background includes BMX, music, architecture, street culture, and many other genres, created this original character that is all handmade and drawn. Bucket Bear is also the main character in the story “Space Sweepers (space waste cleaners)”. Baby Bucket Bear, a generative project, will also be launched.
