Maestro Server 0.6 — Azure and Digital Ocean onboard.

Great news, Maestro Server version 0.6 it’s launched, the big features its a support for Digital Ocean and Azure virtual machines and a lot of new resources in AWS.

Maestro came to help an operation team to keep update with multicloud environment, bring a single pane of glass for all cloud providers, help to maintain documentation update date, made for support production team, devops culture and SRE engineers.

Full integration with Digital Ocean

Defily Digital Ocean came to supply a space for small and medium companies which cheap and easy way to onboard in on cloud world, now Maestro has full integration with Digital Ocean, including tracking of droplets, volumes, load balancers, kubernetes cluster and spaces.

In the same way, when you create the datacenters you have more details like, list all regions.

For droplets you can list, tracking hostname, ips, volumes, datacenters and sizes.

  • You Can relate each drop with each volume
  • List of kubernetes clustes
  • List all spaces using S3 api.

Azure onboard.

We start the integration with Azure, you can list all virtual machine, network, security group, volumes, snapshots and images.

Maestro is able to list all virtual machines and identify a network element, like virtual networks, security group, routes and public and private for each machine, although tracking volumes, images and snapshots.

Now Maestro is able to connect with 4 providers, AWS, OpenStack, Digital Ocean and Azure.

Under the hood

Follow the rules, each release Maestro turns more stable, we have some under hood fixes.

  • Checksum bugfix — Check sun for each entity to decide if the resource will be updated or not.
  • UI fix — A lot of UI fixed.
  • Audit bugfix — Improvement to audit service to control and register each change.
