My favs
I really like all the books from the Chesnut Springs Series but my favourites have to be the first and second books! (That’s ‘Flawless’ and ‘Heartless’)
Flawless follows Rhett Eaton, a professional Bull Rider (danger is his middle name) and Summer Hamilton who his agent sends to polish up his public image. Heartless follows Cade Eaton (the eldest Eaton brother) and the wild-at-heart nanny Willa Grant who is tasked to take care of his son for the summer. I love the chemistry between the characters in both books, the protagonists are so easy to root for and you fall in love with the stories before you know it.
This whole series follows the Eaton family and friends and each couple has its own book. I know everyone loves an interconnected series as you get to see sneak peeks of the other characters in the rest of the books!
Elsie Silver writes their family dynamic perfectly, it is comedic, yet has drama without being too serious.
They make me want to move to a ranch in the middle of nowhere and learn how to ride a horse.
What’s on her shopping list?
When I think of Cowboys and ranches I think of campfire foods like smores and hot dogs. Lots of fresh produce, perhaps homegrown fruit and vegetables because they live out in the countryside.
