And then you just keep on waiting for that perfect book that will take you out of your slump and you’ll finally be able to read a book instead of putting it down and waiting for the right amount of motivation

Some of these books you may already have read but if you haven’t, count yourself lucky for what I would give only to be able to read them for the first time
THEN SHE WAS GONE
Thrillers are a no-brainer when it comes to reviving a person’s interest in books. And this one here was an easy read which is sure to get you turning pages. It is a psychological thriller about fifteen-year-old Ellie Mack and her mysterious disappearance. We follow through with her mother trying to uncover the truth behind her disappearance and the dark mysteries that are uncovered will hook you for sure.
VERITY
This is my all-time favorite thriller and one of the only books by Colleen Hoover that I loved(not the biggest fan of Colleen Hoover). The story revolves around a struggling writer Lowen Ashleigh when she is offered a job to complete the remaining books of a series by Verity Crawford, who is now in a coma. As she comes to her office to look through her notes she finds a manuscript that unfolds some dark secrets about the author Verity. The unexpected plot twists, coupled with the way how the characters have been written in various shades of grey made me fall in love this book.
FOURTH WING
While fantasy novels are not my preferred genre, the characters, the plots, the action, and the romance made this one of my favorite novels that I just didn’t want to put down.
It’s about a girl who has trained her entire life to be a scribe but now she is being forced to be a dragon rider. After having spent her life in a library she has to train for one of the most dangerous fields there is. If you are a Harry Potter or Divergent fan, you will for sure love her journey in the Basgiath war college.
A THOUSAND SPLENDID SUNS:
This here is a book by Khalid Hosseini. This beautiful yet tragic book is sure to bring you to tears as you read about how fate interwinds the lives of Mariam and Laila and how the various tragedies in each of their lives bring them closer to each other. It’s a story about friendship, loss, unique and unbreakable bond.
