Richard Feynman Statement About Talent….

When we see a person who always wins laurels, we suddenly give comments like "Oh, he’s amazing! It is a talented and intelligent person." But the question is, did God create us as either talented or non-talented people? No, God created people equally. There is no distribution. So, what is the thing that makes a person win the statue of victory? I believed that different types of talents mean that people have different senses. Some are good in math because they have an algorithmic mind. I also believed in this phenomenon until now.

But yesterday, I was listening to the great scientist Richard Feynman. He said that there are no talented people, all people are ordinary. He said, "Of course, I was an ordinary person who worked hard." According to his philosophy, talent has no worth. There is only one thing that makes us intelligent, and that is hard work.

Two Types Of People

We always use this sentence: "There are two types of people - talented and hardworking." According to Richard Feynman, a student who is not hardworking has no right to be called an intelligent or talented boy. For example, some students work or study negligibly compared to the hardworking students, but sometimes those students who studied little get higher grades than hardworking students. This is a very harsh reality that makes a hardworking student feel stressed and hopeless. But what is the fact?

Let me tell you:

These students, whom we consider as a cone, study only for exams. An intelligent and hardworking student may not perform well in exams, but they are not just stuck on exams. They work through cold nights in order to seek concepts. This is the difference between so-called talented and hardworking students.

My Own Example
For example, if I give you my own example. I’m the type of student who doesn’t really focus on anything other than math. Always. I end up getting mediocre results, with the worst marks in mathematics. But surprisingly, I excel at others. It’s totally opposite to what Richard Feynman statement
Answer is same as I explained above, - Maybe I didn’t get marks in mathematics but I can say I have more concepts than everyone else. All hardworking people are talented and intelligent. If you want to study about stuff like light, waves or molecule structuresΒ . God ain’t restricted some people and allow others to explore it. God don’t only gave ordinary mind to Max Planck and Einstein to figure out quantum physics. It’s all about interests and preferences - Concepts and exams are two separate rivers. You should perform well in exams but it has no worth without concept. But it doesn’t mean that you take concept but leave exams. We should converge both rivers at one point - Which is hardworking. Hardworking people always do their best in both exams and concepts. The one who’s only the champion of exams and has no concept of what he/she reads can’t be an inventor or scientist.

Richard Feynman said that if you are hardworking and can manage your time – If you can focus and can think about the secrets of the universe – If you're good in Mathematics, then you're a scientist.

Who are geniuses? Who are talented? Who are intelligent? One who could be both hardworking and knowledgeable.
