If You Don’t Produce, You Won’t Thrive — No Matter How Talented You Are
Only your work can help you thrive
Talent alone can’t make you thrive.
No matter how talented you’re, if you don’t put in the effort, your talent won’t be of any use to you.
You need to do the work.
You need to produce.
Talent complements your work. But it can never replace your work.
Talent is as much use to you as much you use it
We overestimate talent. We think those with talent will always rule over those without.
I’m not underestimating talent. You need talent alright. But what you need more is hard work.
Talent can’t do the work for you. It can, however, make your work easier. You can do the work with more ease compared to someone who hasn’t got talent.
Talent helps. But only when you let it. You let talent help you when you’re willing to put in the effort first. Without putting in the effort, your talent won’t come to any use.
If you don’t use your talent, or can’t use all the talent you have, it’ll be the same as not having any talent at all. You won’t be any different from the person with no talent if you…
