Memento Mori” is a phrase that means “Remember that you will die or you have to die”. We know that death is the final destination of every living in the world. You can never let go of it. If you keep this in mind, you will feel happy, friendly, and grateful towards others.

“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
― Mark Twain

We should be more thankful for everything that we have with us. You are reading this article because you are alive. You are here because someone has taken care of you when you were a child. You are doing things because you have a body.

We know death will come one day, and we should live in harmony with everyone. It does not mean you should live in fear that you will be dead.

Life is full of surprises, and you should be thankful for it.

Here are some of the things and people you should be grateful for. I encourage you to thank everyone in the morning. It’s better to write these down daily in the morning. These are some of the points. You can think of your own. The priority here is to be grateful.

“When you are grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears.”
― Anthony Robbins

  • Thankful to your parents who had taken care of you.
  • All those people who had helped you one or the other way.
  • All those helpers in society, like doctors, nurses, sweepers, clerks and many more, who make your life easy.
  • Thankful to all your friends who are there for you.
  • Be grateful to your teachers who had taught you.
  • Thanks to God for giving you the things you are owning right now.
  • Be thankful for your body, which helps you to move, think and act.
  • Remember to cherish distant family members who are always there when you need them, even if they don’t live with you.

The list can go on. You know you will be gone from this world. But sure to do something that will help people to remember you long after you are gone. Do good. Help people and be polite to others.

People will remember you for the moments you have shared with them.

Remember, you can become whatever you like. A beautiful person who enjoys life and people want to be around him, or a person who always complains and fights with others. Who do you think people will think of more?

“Gratitude helps you to grow and expand; gratitude brings JOY and laughter into your life and into the lives of all those around you.”
― Eileen Caddy

The answer is within you. You know what is right. Be grateful you are alive today. Do your best to make this world beautiful for people to live in.

Make good memories with people, family members, friends and parents. These are the things you will remember when you are old and waiting for death.

Remember, “Memento Mori”.
