MAHA is the governance and utility token that regulates the ARTH valuecoin. For those of you that haven’t read the introduction to MahaDAO, it’s a DAO that supports ARTH, a decentralised algorithmic valuecoin. ARTH has no maximum supply and is generated by locking crypto-collaterals into smart-contracts on the Matic network.

MAHA Allocation

A total of 10 million MAHA tokens will be minted at genesis, becoming accessible over the course of 10 years. The initial allocation is as follows:

  • 70% to MahaDAO community members: 7,000,000 MAHA
  • 15% to private sale investors: 1,500,000 MAHA
  • 7% to team members and future employees: 700,000 MAHA
  • 5% to seed investors: 500,000 MAHA
  • 3% to advisors: 300,000 MAHA

At the end of the fourth year, there is a perpetual inflation rate of 2% or 200,000 MAHA tokens per year, where active community members that consistently participate and contribute to the MahaDAO ecosystem are favourably rewarded.

MAHA Allocation At Genesis

Maha Allocation — Genesis

MahaDAO is reliant on dynamic community members to drive its long term success, so it’s only fitting that the majority belongs to them.

The team behind MahaDAO fell in love with the mission immediately, bootstrapping to product launch and are now prepared to raise funds to make this vision a reality.

Community Distribution

Post ARTH coin launch, MAHA token holders can vote to allocate MAHA towards grants, strategic partnerships, governance initiatives, additional liquidity mining pools, and a host of other programs. The tokenomics are designed to promote self-sustaining investor interest, developer engagement and user adoption.

Community Members: Rewards are allocated according to the activity of community participants within the ARTH ecosystem. There are loads for the community to get involved with, like our bug bounty programme, which recognises those in the trenches doing their bit to spot vulnerabilities.

Liquidity Farming: Liquidity is the lifeblood of emerging protocols like ours and to stimulate the ARTH ecosystem, we have some new creative ways for you to earn MAHA tokens by bringing liquidity to the platform. For those providing collaterals to create ARTH, mining rewards will happen weekly and you can also earn interest on ARTH tokens by staking ARTH, to benefit from the Arth Savings Rate. We’ll have a whole article dedicated to this; so stay tuned!

Contributor Grants: What we’ve built so far is just the start. For ARTH to fulfil its remarkable potential we need developers to harness their creativity and build new products that people will love. By integrating ARTH coins into these new dApps, we will accelerate the adoption of ARTH.

Merchant Grants: We’re pleased to announce that we’ll be pioneering a new type of incentive programme, in the form of merchant grants. Merchants being those who will accept ARTH as a form of payment for their goods and services. So those that are early adopters and buy into ARTH way will be rewarded.

Influencers & Media: We’re continually working on exciting collaborations to expand ARTH’s universe and accelerate platform adoption. Our project is global by nature and ARTH itself is intended to be used in all four corners of the world.
