The start of every journey is categorized as an essential cornerstone to a dedicated process. MahaDAO has followed through, greatly since the very beginning with not just the inception of its DAO but also its products, upgrades, and partnerships when it comes to delivering the MAHA community.
January 2022 has emerged to be one of the most thrilling and successful months for MahaDAO.
A lot has happened over the last few weeks, and it’s time we recapped all the events that took place and shared with the community what happened in the month of January.
MahaDAO launch on Binance Smart Chain
To kick things off we launched ARTH Loans on the BSC chain. As you know, ARTH Loans allow users to take out stablecoin loans with ease. ARTH Loans are essentially used to leverage asset exposure.
Along with the BSC launch, the MAHA token was also added as one of the collateral for taking out an ARTH loan.
Governance maximized with MAHAX staking rewards
MahaDAO announced the launch of its non-tradable governance token (MAHAX) a couple of months ago. Since then, we have developed strategies and synergies to maximize the governance experience for all MAHA holders.
The launch of MAHAX Staking Rewards adds to the already lucrative benefits of holding MAHAX; earning platform fees, voting & governance rights, and guaranteed allocations for MahaStarter projects.
Currently users receive rewards for locking MAHA on gov.mahadao.com. Rewards are distributed in $MAHA, $ARTH, $USDC, $SCLP. More token rewards will be added as more project tokens are added into the MahaDAO ecosystem through its various products like MahaStarter.
MahaDAO x Multichain (previously AnySwap)
MahaDAO recently partnered with Multichain to list $MAHA on the Multichain Bridge. Users are now easily able to swap $MAHA across multiple blockchains — Ethereum, Polygon, & BSC.

MahaDAO x CoinMarketCap
MahaDAO exclusively partnered with CoinMarketCap to be one of the first few projects to explore project Gravity.
MahaDAO x Umbrella Network
After an 11 month wait, MahaDAO and Umbrella Network joined hands to integrate the MAHA-USD pair as FCD (First Class Data) on UMB’s community-driven decentralized oracles.
After the MAHA-USD pair, the MahaDAO team will work on sourcing data for the Global Measurement Unit(GMU) peg of ARTH.
