The ARTH Genesis Launch and NFT Giveaways
The day is finally here. After a lot of pivots, experimentation, and community feedback, we are finally excited to share with you all the launch of the ARTH Genesis which will take place on June 22nd, 2021.
In this article, we are excited to detail how the ARTH Genesis launch will take place and how you can participate in winning some of the exclusive MahaDAO NFTs.
What is the Genesis event?
The Genesis is an event that will bootstrap the ARTH protocol with enough collateral to support its peg. Users who’d like to participate in the Genesis need to simply visit the arthcoin.com website and deposit collateral into the various smart contracts.
The Genesis will last for 7 days.
How can I participate in Genesis?
There are two ways to participate in the Genesis event.
If you are a user who holds ARTH v2 tokens on the Polygon network, then you can simply swap with the ARTHX token at a fixed price of 100 ARTHX per ARTH token.
If you are a user who deposits collateral on the Polygon or Ethereum network, then you will get ARTHX at a 30–50% discount and also get lottery tickets that will allow you to possibly win any of the NFT Prizes.
The lottery tickets are only given to users who contribute collateral to the protocol.
(Users can participate in the Genesis either on the Ethereum or on the Polygon network. However, the ARTH token will be running live on the Polygon network)
The NFT lottery system explained
Every user who deposits collateral will earn a ticket that makes them eligible to win one of the 5 NFTs that will be given away when the Genesis event gets over.
Users receive lottery tickets by depositing at least 1000$ worth of collateral. The more collateral a user deposits, the more lottery ticket he/she receives.
After the Genesis event is over a raffle draw will be conducted awarding the different NFT prizes to users who hold lottery tickets at random.
Moving forward
We are excited to finally unveil ARTH 2.0 to the world. We cannot believe that an event that has taken months of programming endeavour is less than 7 days away.
