Electricity

The electric supply in the still-developing neighbourhood is erratic. We have provided solar emergency lamp, candles and an invertor for emergencies, but please carry your own torch with batteries.

Network

Most networks are not consistent here, but if you’re on ‘IDEA’ you might have better luck. Still not amazing connectivity, though.

Neighbourhood

The closest village is half a kilometer away and out of sight, and the larger village Alonde, which has a market, is approximately 4 kilometers and the nearest town Vikramgadh is 12 kilometers or a 20-minute drive away.

Safety

While we have taken measures to make Mahua a safe experience, it’s ultimately your responsibility to keep yourself, your companions and children with you safe. Due care and caution must be taken in the house, in the farm and around water bodies. Keep in mind that unlike cities, medical and emergency help is not instantly available here.

First Aid

In case you need any medical assistance, please refer to the information sheet for useful numbers. A basic first aid kit is provided in Mahua. You are, regardless, requested to carry your own medicines as we have very general medication stored.

Guests shall be solely responsible for the conduct of the group and their belongings, during their stay. Damage to the property will be recovered from the person responsible for the booking. No illegal activities will be permitted / tolerated.
