How do we get to Mahua?

90 kilometers from Mumbai, Mahua is on the Vikramgadh-Savroli route. Courtesy the Western Express highway, it’s an easy hour and a half drive from Mumbai, made even better during the monsoons.

Drive carefully as almost 70% of the route is through rural areas.

This is how you get there from Mumbai.

· Get on the Western Express Highway, past the Dahisar Toll Naka.

· Drive on for approximately 61.5 kilometers north — towards ‘Ten Naka’.

· After Hotel Silver Miles on the left, go under the first flyover to get on to Wada Manor Road.

· Drive past Kanchad, up to Pali village junction. Turn left.

· From Pali junction, after you go past Vasuri village, take left at Alonde village junction.

· Turn left on the ‘Y’ junction after you pass through the village and drive towards Savroli.

· Approximately 4 kms after the ‘Y’, you will arrive at Moho-Khurd village.

· Go past ‘Balaji farms’ — marked by a Sun Emblem — on your right. Take left at the T- junction.

· 150 meters on your left is the gate of ‘Mahua’.

From Thane:

· Follow the road up to Western Express Highway i.e. Ghodbunder junction.

· At the Fountain Hotel signal, turn right to get on the Western Express Highway.

· Drive on for approximately 55 kilometers north — towards ‘Ten Naka’.

· After Hotel Silver Miles on the left, go under the first flyover to get on to Wada Manor Road.

· Drive past Kanchad, up to Pali village junction.

· From Pali junction, after you go past Vasuri village, take left at Alonde village junction.

· Turn left on the ‘Y’ junction after you pass through the village and drive towards Savroli.

· Approximately 4 kms after the ‘Y’, you will arrive at Moho-Khurd village.

· Go past ‘Balaji farms’ — marked by a Sun Emblem — on your right. Take left at the T- junction.

From Kalyan:

· Cross the Mumbai-Nasik road towards Bhiwandi.

· Drive past Bhiwandi towards Wada.

· On the Bhiwandi- Wada road, drive past Ambadi, Kudus (Coca Cola factory), to Wada town.

· At Wada Junction, turn left on to the Wada-Manor road, also referred to as ‘Wada-Ten’ road.

· Approximately 7 kms from Wada junction turn right at Pali village junction.

· From Pali junction, after you go past Vasuri village, take left at Alonde village junction.

· Turn left on the ‘Y’ junction after you pass through the village and drive towards Savroli.

· Approximately 4 kms after the ‘Y’, you will arrive at Moho-Khurd village.

· Go past ‘Balaji farms’ — marked by a Sun Emblem — on your right. Take left at the T- junction.
