I once praised one of my seniors for knowing so much and so talented he was. What he replied is something I can never forget. “It’s not about talent. The only difference between you and me is just that I know something which before the session you didn’t know”.
I usually give reasons for not doing something in life. But the fact is that I never really wanted it that badly. To get what you want, the most important thing is “The Will”. People also say luck plays an important role to be successful. What I feel is I need to work first to get the luck on my side.
For me, writing a code with functions was like a dream — writing an article was something I never thought I would be able to do. I struggled a lot to get these two done, but only in my head. Never really tried to do. A lot of things which was like a barrier for me was the fear of failure. Maybe I might not do as good as others are — Too much of thinking is a lot more dangerous.
Sometimes you just need to give it a try without thinking much.
And then one day I did it. That day I realized it was not that difficult. Though I am not someone who has achieved a lot in life or some multi-talented person, this experience made me realize what “Will” truly means — ‘The Will’ will make you realize too!
